Williams Lake Sale - Wednesday, Nov 10, 2021



Today was wall to wall calves in Williams Lake, and the quality today was incredible with 2200 calves on offer. The Sutton Ranch had a pen of 581 lb Angus x that sold to 200.00. Their center sort of 31 538 lb s/c raced to 210.00. The big boys 724 lb saw 190.00. Their pen of 550 lb h/c hit 170.25. The Chezacut Ranch Ltd. show cased over 300 powerful calves. 49 hd of 522 lb Angus s/c raced to 218.00. Their load of their fancy h/c all Angus and Angus x 88 hd weighing 487 lb hit 185.00. Kevin Newberry’s 441 lb s/c hit 222.00, his 440 lb Black h/c rolled to 180.00. Alex & Jenny Robinson of 144 Mile Ranch saw their 514 lb Angus s/c hit 215.00. Their 441 lb s/c sold to 230.00, and their 466 lb h/c rolled to 179.00. Dale & Teresa Smith’s powerful 686 lb Red x s/c reached 190.00. While their 600 lb s/c hit 197.50. Tyler & Sabrina Slaven’s had 573 lb Angus x sell to 200.00. Roger & Caroline Brown’s 545 lb Black s/c hit 205.50. Hohmann Bros Contracting, 668 lb Black Angus s/c reached 190.00. Ivan Theissen show cased their 552 lb Simm x s/c at 206.25. Their 624 lb  s/c rolled to 194.25, and their 485 lb s/c brought 223.75. Gail Bezanson today had powerful 551 lb Angus x s/c sell to 203.00, and the 539 lb h/c at 169.00. Matt & Sara Augustine filled the ring with 29 Black Angus 481 lb s/c and they hit 231.00. A ring full of their 454 lb h/c set the trend at 181.00. Onward Ranch today show cased 200 tremendous calves, all Angus and Angus x. The first load of 59 s/c @ 492 lb hit 220.00. The big boys 600 lb hit 200.00. Dave Stafford’s solid 654 lb Char x s/c rolled to 194.25. The 765 lb Buckskin s/c hit 189.75. His top lot of 24 Char h/c @ 679 lb hit 171.00. K & D Ilnicki and T & D Ilnicki had 526 lb s/c hit 209.00. Their 609 lb s/c sold to 193.00, and their 549 lb h/c reached 170.25. C1 RanchLtd. had 388 lb Blk s/c top the sale @ 250.50. Douglas Lake Cattle Company, Alkali Div. set Thursday’s cow trade with young 2/3 yr old cows 1030 lb top 75.00. The solid sort of Butcher cows 1367 lb hit 66.25. Butcher cows were slightly higher this week with the better to best cows trapping 57.00-63.00 range. Bulls 75.00-78.00 and the odd sale to 80.00. Next week’s calf sale is Wednesday Nov. 17th @ 9am and regular Thursday sale is Nov. 18th @ 9am.
