Kamloops was on track again for one incredible sale Nov 2 with 1450 hd of cattle on offer. The Douglas Lake Cattle Co. came with over 200 Butcher cows, setting the stage for our cows. The first liner load of 2 coming 3 year old hfrs 1081 lb hit 90.50. A pen of their 1284 lb Butcher cows set a pace at 59.00. Bob Mitchell from Pemberton also had a top load of 1350 lb Butcher cows mark 62.00. Gary Stone of Lumby started the calf run today with 650 lb Blk s/c selling to 191.00, his 606 lb h/c brought 170.00. Whatshan Cattle Co of Edgewood had 651 lb Red x s/c sell to 190.00, their 750 lb red x hfrs brought 174.00. The Way Home Ranch show cased 200 powerful Angus x calves, their load of 663 lb s/c hit 192.25, the 570 lb s/c rolled to 205.25, the 482 lb h/c rolled to 180.50. Terry Zinck’s 584 lb Red x s/c sold to 200.00. Bob Mitchell of Pemberton saw his 704 lb Blk hfrs sell to 165.00. The Princeton Stock Ranch’s 677 lb Blk Angus s/c today powered to 193.00. Norm Breen had 30 hd in one group all Blk Angus s/c 648 lb raced to 193.75. Jon Peachey presented 300 tremendous calves, the mothers to these calves will be on offer in January 2022 in Kamloops at the bred sale on the 26th. A liner load of 69 s/c 624 lb hit 195.25. The next load of 48 s/c 491 lb raced to 225.25 and 40 hd of his fancy 600 lb Red & Blk replacement h/c hit 179.00. Quentin & Sheena Schneider saw their 643 lb Blk Angus s/c reach 194.50 and a ring full of 565 lb s/c saw 209.00. Nick & Lonette Graffunder saw their 740 lb Simm s/c reach 187.00. Dirk & Joyan VanderMeer saw their 679 lb Blk s/c top 192.00, their 624 lb h/c topped 171.25. Fred & Barb Watkinson saw their beautiful 645 lb Hereford s/c roll to 189.00. Karl Rainer of Darfield had 675 lb Blk Simm x s/c hit 190.25. Steve Langenegger’s outstanding 742 lb Red Angus s/c sold to 186.00. Jason & Jana Quesnel from Lumby had 603 lb Blk Angus s/c top 197.00 and 566 lb h/c marking 173.00. Shane Muir had a top pen of 902 lb yearling hfrs that traded to 165.50. Mark Pooley had 824 lb yearling strs trade to 183.00. Hayward Holdings sold a load of 935 lb Blk Angus strs sell to 180.50. Indian Gardens Ranch sold a load of Cows, their 1300 lb Butcher cows traded to 57.50. Wayne & Jackie VanSickle’s 1542 lb Butcher cows sold to 53.00.
