Another exciting cattle sale here in Kamloops Tuesday Oct 12 with a huge volume of 1200 hd of cattle. Calves by far made up the largest part of the sale and did they ever sell! John Bosovich put the fire into this sale with 600 lb Red Angus x s/c topping 207.00 and 558 lb h/c at 180.00. Kevin Laitinen from Salmon Arm put a top on our h/c  market with 542 lb Blk Angus h/c topping 187.00. Eric Bergstrand hit the market with 569 lb Angus x s/c that raced to 211.25, the 610 lb s/c met 205.00 and their pen of 425 lb s/c blew the doors off at 238.00. The TY Ranch had 515 lb Gelbveih x s/c top 217.50. Bill & Kelly Jackson had 700 lb red x s/c sold to 203.00, their beautiful group of 612 lb Angus x h/c hit 180.75. Silver Spur Ranch’s big group of 605 lb red h/c rolled to 179.00. Peter & Sharon Philip saw their ring full of 548 lb Angus x s/c reach 215.00 and their top 622 lb Red x h/c sold to 179.00 and 50 hd of their 553 lb h/c selling to 188.00. Then they filled the ring with 511 lb Red Angus x s/c that hit 220.00 and the 471 lb h/c hit 185.00. The Rocking W Ranch set a pace with 548 lb Blk Angus s/c hit 215.00. Phil & Shirley Johnston had 573 lb Angus x s/c sell to 210.00. Tom & Marian Pitt saw their solid 600 lb Buckskin s/c hit 210.50 and the 528 lb Red x s/c brought 216.50 and the 560 lb Char x h/c rolled to 189.50. Bob & Dori Hampton had 508 lb Angus  s/c that topped the day at 225.00, their 500 lb h/c hit 188.00. Mary Curnow had 1563 lb Butcher cows trade to 73.50 and 1665 lb cows to 78.00.
