Big receipts in Kamloops today Oct 5th as over 900 hd of cattle hit the ring. Again we were heavy to calves with over 600 hd and they were powerful and good. Bill Couldwell from Copper Creek Ranch put the power to this incredible sale. The top pen of his 602 lb Red Angus x s/c hit 206.25, a pen of the 560 lb s/c raced to 212.00. 23 hd of his fancy 575 lb h/c saw 179.75. Carl, Leona, Carson & Melissa Bischoff saw their top pen of Gelbvieh x s/c 651 lb race to 207.75, their 470 lb s/c topped at 233.00 and a pen of replacement Gelbvieh x h/c 668 lb topped 177.00. Jackie & Mark Williamson from Lone Butte saw their 544 lb Angus x s/c top 216.00, their 563 lb h/c raced to 180.00. Anchor 6 Ranch had 533 lb Angus x s/c hit 220.00, their 418 lb s/c topped 250.00 and a ring full of 534 lb h/c reached 180.00. Slate Creek Ranch had solid 539 lb Blk Angus s/c that sold to 214.00, their 623 lb s/c notched 205.00 and their 535 lb h/c hit 184.00. Rex, Trish & Alana Duncan of Valemount saw their powerful 509 lb x Bred s/c top 222.00. Jason & Jana Quesnel of Double Q Farms saw their 663 lb Blk Angus s/c top 206.00, their 428 lb s/c reached 231.00 and their 431 h/c hit 186.00. Blaine Louis had a top group of 736 lb Blk s/c reach 202.50, their 590 lb s/c rolled to 210.00 and his 578 lb hfrs sold to 188.00. Fennell Ranches saw their 535 lb Blk Angus s/c trade to 210.50 and their 459 lb s/c reached 227.00. Eric Bergstrand had 438 lb Angus s/c hit 237.50. Nick & Lonette Graffunder had 649 lb Simm x s/c sell to 208.00 and their fancy replacement quality 635 lb h/c topped 183.00.  Keith & Penny Prigmore had heavy 633 lb Angus s/c sell to 208.50 and 579 lb h/c topping 185.00. Alex Majerech saw his 814 lb Angus strs hit 192.50. Charles Walkem saw his 616 lb Blk Angus s/c hit 209.00, the solid 683 lb Blk s/c reach 208.50 and the beautiful 600 lb h/c sold to 179.50. Ron Eden sold his 418 lb Angus s/c at 234.00, the 316 lb s/c reached 250.00 and the 320 lb h/c rolled to 203.00. Terry Johnson’s 954 lb Angus hfrs sold to 168.50. Ed Roberson 944 lb spayed hfrs sold to 173.00. Bulls today sold to 95.00, Cows were 70.00—76.00 for the most part. Well yet again another pleasure to sell good cattle today, steller start to finish.
