We rolled into excellent numbers Tuesday as again over 800 hd of cattle were on offer. Calves were by far the biggest number but a top group of yearlings were also available. The Douglas Lake Cattle Co put the test to this top sale, a liner load of their 949 lb open Blk Angus hfrs raced to 167.25 and their 878 lb hfrs hit 172.00. Next we were into the Hereford division with a powerful load of 941 lb hfrs that set the mark at 165.25. Rivers Edge Ranching had 740 lb Blk s/c hit 201.00 and their 500 lb Blk h/c topped 187.00. Rafael Horsch & Janet Young saw their 551 lb Angus x s/c hit 215.00 and their ring full of 500 lb British x h/c sell to 179.50. Bob & Suzanne Brash saw their beautiful Blk s/c 585 lb sell to 213.00, the lighter 485 lb s/c rolled to 227.00 and their 525 lb h/c hit 190.00. Jim & Cherry Ebl had 500 lb Hereford s/c race to 210.00. George Ebl saw his 427 lb Hereford s/c hit 226.00. Aaron & Sue Fotsch saw their 600 lb Red x s/c reach 215.00 and their 410 lb s/c topped 233.00. Morgan & Olivia Bloom had a top group of 580 lb s/c reach 214.50 and their 655 lb s/c sold to 207.50. Larry & Bonnie Spence of Edgewood showcased their red replacement h/c that hit 175.00 and the 518 lb h/c sold to 180.00. Blaine Louis had powerful 608 lb Blk Angus s/c that sold to 215.00 and his 710 lb Blk h/c brought 185.00. The Valleyview Ranch had solid 548 lb Blk s/c sell to 214.00 and the fancy 500 lb h/c rolled to 188.50. The Whitley Lake Ranch had 300 lb s/c sell to 251.00. Today Richard Hug from Lillooett had 541 lb Red Angus x h/c top 185.00. Ed & Marie Hazelwood from Pritchard had 611 lb Blk Angus s/c race to 215.00 and their 534 lb Angus x h/c powered to 187.00. John Bosovich from Westbridge set the pace with their 582 lb Angus x s/c that hit 214.00, their fancy 464 lb s/c saw 232.00 and a powerful ring of 468 lb Angus x h/c hit 192.00. JN Palmer had 1533 lb Butcher cows sell to 75.00. Devick’s Ranch saw their 1860 lb Blk bull bring 96.00. Squaw Valley Ranch had 1438 lb Butcher cows reach 76.00.
