KAMLOOPS SALE - TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 11TH
Excellent receipts today as 600 head of cattle kept sales active and keen throughout the sale. Hillaby Creek Farm out of Pemberton set a pace today as their 1477 lb. butcher cows raced to 76.00, with 1600 lb. cows to 76.25.  Willard Antoine had 1570 lb. cows to 75.50.  Top of the Hill Farms, Edson & Betty Joyce set the stage for the yearling trade with a top group of 1044 lb. Char steers trading to 123.00, their heavy end of 1078 lb. Char steers marked 119.25.  Tony & Kay Schimpf with a great pen of 994 lb. Black & Red steers racing to 125.75, their 910 lb. steers topped 127.00.  Windrow Farms heavy 950 lb. heifers from Kelowna reached 118.75.  The Eagleview Ranch today from Sorrento had a great pen of yearlings, their 763 lb. steers saw 140.00, their heavy 834 lb. steers marked 134.75.  Cheryl Murray with heavy 940 lb. Black Angus steers from Westwold trading to 126.50.  The Snowbound Ranch from Pembertson had 990 lb. Red Blaze Face steers top 124.00.  Dixie Duncan saw her 924 lb. Black Angus spay heifers trade to 121.00.  The Neale Bros. Ranch of Merritt today set the trend for our calf trade with 32 head of 465 lb. Black & Bwf  s/c raced to 188.50.  Scott McLeod blew the doors off with 429 lb. Black s/c topping 176.50, the 300 lb. s/c hit 197.50.  Ted & Grace Crawford had preconditioned Black baldy 723 lb. s/c top 139.00.  Dale & Christine Watt had 468 lb. Black h/c hit 154.00.  Gordon Armes had 518 lb. Angus s/c hit 161.50, the 360 lb. s/c rolled to 185.00.  The Bonaparte Ranch 14 head of 786 lb. Black & Bwf steers showed us 135.00.  Andy Ciancone showcased some of the heavy steers today with a pen of 1027 lb. Hereford and Hereford cross steers trading to 122.00.  Reid Davidson from Pemberton filled the ring with 19 head of 841 lb. heifers  trading to 123.75.
