Today in Kamloops another very strong sale with just under 380 hd of cattle on offer. Calves made up the bulk of the receipts but we also had some light weight yearlings. Peter Deuling from Lumby had 52 hd today. His 585 lb h/c raced to 180.50 and his 613 lb  h/c hit 176.50. Next we went to Beaverdell for Glen Frankie’s Limo x strs that were 761 lb fancy and powerful as they raced to 195.50 and his top pen of 728 lb limo x h/c raced to 180.75. Rick & Wendy Nichol set the stage today with 486 lb BBF s/c notching 228.00 and a beautiful pen of 510 lb h/c topping 188.00 and 423 lb h/c marking 197.00. Mitch de Strake had 500 lb s/c top 219.00 and 533 lb h/c bring 185.50. Kelly de Strake also had 525 lb h/c notching 185.00. L & T Letchford from Louis Creek had a top pen of RBF 464 lb s/c that hit 220.00 and a fancy pen of their 424 lb h/c top of the class raced to 193.00. Wilf Blackburn had heavy quality calves, his 600 lb strs hit 207.00, his 330 lb s/c topped 275.00 and 5 hd of his 500 lb Red & Blk Angus h/c hit 190.00. Lee Creek Holdings had 564 lb Char s/c reach 217.50. Fredy Pozzobon’s beautiful 504 lb buckskin h/c hit 197.00. Liebreich Farm had 415 lb Red x s/c that sold to 231.00. The Zielke Ranch had solid Blk 565 lb s/c that traded to 216.00. Fennel Ranch filled the ring with a top group of 501 lb Blk Angus h/c selling to 191.00. Trent Kjos of Salmon Arm had 475 lb British s/c sell to 219.00. Herfst Cattle Co had 858 lb Blk strs hit 190.00. Rocking W Ranch had 838 lb Blk Angus hfrs sell to 170.75. Ivan Card had 865 lb Angus x strs reach 185.50. Glen Kooistra’s 700 lb hfrs brought 180.00. Peter Deuling’s 1500 lb cows sold to 74.75. The D Bar E Ranch had 1055 lb Blk strs that sold to 155.00. Wilf Blackburn’s 1433 lb Butcher cows topped 74.75. Paul Molnar had 1275 lb Butcher cows reach 79.00. Curtis & Erica Martindale from Merritt had 2380 lb Butcher bulls top 95.50. The Silver Spur Ranch had 2260 lb Bulls top 97.00 today. Next sale in Kamloops is September 14th. We expect about 500 hd.
