Well Kamloops was an added sale to accommodate people that had to move cattle because of the drought and fires. We had just 200 hd go through the ring today including some excellent Butcher cows. Keith & Penny Prigmore with heavy 1669 lb Butcher cows topping 75.50. Jennifer Fryatt topped our cow trade with 1420 lb cows at 77.00. Tom Surkon from Salmon Arm with 1635 lb Butcher cows sell to 76.50. Feeder cattle were solid today. Duane Milliken from Malakwa set the price with 734 lb Red & Blk Angus hfrs topping 176.00 and the 700 lb strs at 185.00. Tom Surkon also had 783 lb hfrs trade to 175.00. Ross & Charlene Syme had a great pen of 754 lb Angus x hfrs that topped the sale at 179.00. Ray & Sheila Harrison also brought some excellent calves. Their pen of 428 lb s/c sold to 234.00. Bob & Ruth Black had 398 lb Blk Angus s/c top 255.00. Allen & Jamie Johnson had a great set of 471 lb h/c mark 210.00.  It was a great sale today under some cooler skies.
