Lighter receipts this week in Kamloops. Ray Long from McBride set a pace hard to follow with butcher cows today. Their 1715 lb. butcher cows high yielding and good traded to 56.50. The Quesnel Ranch from Lumby set a new price trend on a beautiful pen of 437 lb. Red & Black h/c’s they traded to 115.00. Lloyd Gavelin from Merritt showcased another powerful load of calves this week, their pen of 719 lb. s/c hit 98.25, their 679 lb. Red & Red Blaze Face s/c hit 103.25. Seven O Ranch saw their 2270 lb. butcher bulls trade to 62.00. Darrell Comazzetto had 2015 lb. butcher bull trade to 66.75. The Albers Creek Ranch from Lumby had 1600 lb. butcher cows to 55.75. A few cow/calf pairs this week traded up to 990.00. Shay’s Livestock Consultants fancy 590 lb. s/c hit 111.00. The Boltz Ranch from Midway with a strong complement of butcher cows & butcher heifers their young 1332 lb. butcher cows hit 57.00. The Indian Gardens Ranch had 1858 lb. butcher bulls top 65.00, their butcher cows traded to 55.50.
Next week another great sale planned. Tom has 100 head of feeder cattle, 40 bred cows, and some butcher cows and bulls already listed.
